I just visit this site today. It has been some years since I payed attention to this Cormorant Rookery. It is a special place because there are only a handful of places on the South coast that this bird gathers to breed and raise their young. It was with great shock that I see the site has been completely abandoned because of the climbing route that has been established. I will be compiling a report for Conservation to act on restoring this vital habitat. Hard for me to understand why this was done when the nest sites are so obvious. So much garbage on site. All the anchors need to be removed, as well as the ropes, gear, and construction projects. John

Carry On Falling

Just healed from a bite gained but not felt while gardening 3 months ago. Started as a sore with a white cap and evolved into a deep ulcer on my shin. I kept draining it and packing with topical antibiotics to no real effect. Cleaning with betadine did nothing. When active Manuka honey MGO400+ was applied it started healing and replacing bad tissue with new within a few days, and redness was gone overnight. BTW - Australia.

He was a great person. Ludovic Woerth always tried the best in his life! His videos what I´ve seen which he produced are one of the best in the world. He lived very intensiv, with big love what he did. Mostly people only are present, until his death. But Ludovic made the best of his life. This I think is very rare.

Kudos for whatever floats your climbing boat, but this is pretty lame. Literally the best climber in the world (and of all time) talks all the time about prioritizing onsight. And this ethos (try a route once only) is highly geographically biased. If you happen to live in an area with a lifetime worth of onsight attempts, great. For the rest of us, projecting is not only a choice it's the only option.

Ahh yes the forgotten style of ONSIGHTING. Thank god this man resurected such an ancient form of climbing! Even though all highend lead comps are onsight, all my friends and I attempt onsights, and everyone knows about onsighting. You guys are really getting desperate for views. Can't wait for the next wave of lay offs!

"I'm cold I'm scared" well that's a reasonable reaction to being hit by an avalanche at 6,900m and falling 100'. How lucky that the ice screw securing his rope wasn't ripped out. These guys are clearly 1st rate technical climbers so I'm surprised that they didn't wait a day after the storm for the snow slopes to stabilise [or avalanche off] That was risky.

It´s so ridiculous, that Janja Garnbret send this beast too! And just once, but 2x at the SAME day, just beacause her first recording was not satisfactory. The sport of climbing is undergoing a process of change. Awesome!
